Endurance.Net Ridecamp Archives

Also, use a mounting block, a rock, a log, a bank or put the horse on the 
downhill side from you.  I have trouble mounting and I use an English 
saddle, but I cheat with any of the above techniques.  No trouble at all 
getting on the horse if I "cheat."
