Re: [RC] Drinking on trail (human) -- Camelbak question - Truman Prevatt

Didn't throw me off balance but it held the heat in and I ended up getting overheated and when I get overheated I get sick and lose my cookies. I finished all the rides I did with one but I felt like death warmed over when I did. That sort of defeats the purpose of them.  They cover a lot of area. I thought they were a great idea but like many great ideas it didn't pass the field test - at least for me.

Hi, everyone --

I'm wondering if people who have used Camelbak (or other backpack-
type "hydration systems," as they are pretentiously known) while on trail find
that carrying several pounds of water fairly high up on your back throws your
riding balance off...?

At the end of the day maybe the definition of endurance isn't the length of
the ride but rather the spirit in which it is ridden.
