I am having a 16 yo mare vetted tomorrow AM and want to know, if everything looks good (flexion test and x-rays) how long I could compete on her? She will be doing 25s until I get a better handle on her recovery rates, than *maybe* move to 50s in 6-12 months... Kristen broodmares over the years, many of which weren't even broke to ride previously.
