Japan 2010 World Equestrian Games News

5 horses and riders will represent Japan in the 2010 Alltech World Equestrian Games World Endurance Championship.

1. Ms.Noriko Endo and Pony boy --- this combination were selected #4 in FEI 2009 combination ranking. And Pony boy was selected #3 in FEI 2009 horse ranking. This horse is very small, his height is 14 hands, very suitable for Japanese.

2 Ms. Hiromi Kitaike and Maqina --- Maqina is a very tall horse, mostly over 16 hands and Ms. Kitaike can handle this big horse, because she finished Tevis Ride on 2007. After Tevis Ride, She joined Seiichi and Harumi Hasumi's Arabian Horse Ranch and worked as a horse trainer and tried to get CoC.

3.Ms. Chikako Nishiyama and Dameon PJ --- Dameon P J is a very strong horse and a winning horse at Japan's first Shining Moon Ride.  Yes, still now he is very strong.  And Ms. Nishiyama is working in Mr Hasumi's company as a chief in editor and got CoC.

 4. Miss Ayame Sasaki and Fausto BL --- Fausto is also a small horse 14.1 hands very suitable for Japanese and he finished Tevis Cup when he was 6 years old. Miss Ayame Sasaki is now 18 years old.  She entered to the university this year and she tried to get CoC during last year and her entrance examination for the university.  She succeeded in both two subjects.

Arabian Horse Ranch appointed her as junior rider and a young rider, they supported her economically, morally in order to join the Ride and ride a horse a lot. As there are no Rides for junior riders and young riders, she had to join in the Ride for adults with a lot of weights.   As you can guess she is a daughter of Mr. Sasaki who won our first Shining Moon Ride.

5.Mr. Honda and Tim --- The only man rider in a Team Japan.  He is a Dosanko- Pony Horse club owner in Hokkaido. Tim is riding a mixed horse with a Dosanko Pony and a Quarter horse. So, his horse was bred in Japan.

You would be surprised to know that Japan Equestrian Federation never support for Endurance riders about the horse shipping expenses.   On the other hand JEF support for the other riders (Dressage, Jumping, Eventing ) about the horse shipping expenses.    Therefore, we have to work hard to support endurance riders about the horse shipping expenses.   Fortunately, one of our members succeeded to get a lot of donation for Endurance Team Japan.  The company name is Toppan, a big Printing Company.

Seiichi Hasumi will work as a crew boss and substantially work as a Chef-de Quip for a Team Japan.
