RE: [RC] Convention Rooms - Ranelle Rubin

Kat,

While I do understand your point of view, I do not agree with the way you voiced your opinion of AERC on a public forum. If you, I, or anyone else, makes the choice to stay elsewhere, pay less, and incur the inconvenience of travel back and forth,  we certainly make that choice freely. Those who stay in the hotel, and thus enjoy the proximity to the event, will pay whatever room rate their conscience guides them to do. If they want to stay for less, they are certainly free to do so. Just be quiet about it once you understand the reason behind the rate difference. Obviously most of us would rather spend our hard earned cash at the tradeshow than gamble or drink! I am sure even you understand that is the rationale behind the hotel's rate..they don't make much off of us..even most food at casinos is a good deal!

What I object to loudly are your negative comments on this forum toward AERC and Bruce Weary. Both, IMO, give way more than they ever receive.
