With all the arctic ice melts,  you'd think that reverse osmosis would be the future              ( California has a huge coast line).  Not going back in time to damming .  

Hydro-electric power can also not be part of   the long run future of this country, as with coal, oil etc.   There are more natural,  less damaging alternatives to power.
