Re: [RC] NOT Married because of horses... - Truman PrevattI have stayed out of this long enough. My wife and I ride together - well errrrrrrrr sometimes. One time was on a CTR. It had just rained a tropical downpour the night before. I find and opening and move on up past two rides - Steve and Dinah Rojek actually. Kathy didn't hear the que and her horse is pitching a fit that two horses are between him and his buddy. She mentioned something like "Truman you a** h***, why did you do that. Steve made the comment, I've heard those terms of endearment before ;-) .Like anything having to do with the relationship between Venus and Mars, it is delicate. Kathy and I do conditioning rides together but seldom ride together. Our horses really don't have compatible gait speeds - and of course that is my fault (that must be a Venus thing). On 1 Jan of 2008 we celebrated our 25th anniversary (31 if you add the count the six years we lived in sin). We decided to celebrate - we would do the Greenway ride ( 1 Jan 2008) together. It may have been the longest 30 miles of either of our lives but we made it! Isn't that what it is all about?
