[RC] Weaving to block trail - Diane Trefethen

My boy does this too, if anybody has any suggestions on how to break him of the habit I would love to know.
Jess Spoone-Raines
When someone comes up behind you, shorten your reins and keep your horse moving straight between your legs. When/if the person says "On your left", move to the right side of the trail (not OFF the trail). Weaving is counterproductive - it wastes energy, both physical and psychic. Pulling your horse off the trail because it wants to weave wastes not only energy but time as well. Just collect up your horse and ride it straight.
