Um... me?  Knit?  I don't think so!  I've tried that one, and ended 
up with one of those embarrassing sweaters that the loved one who 
gets it pretends to really appreciate but is (not so) secretly 
horrified!  Hmmmm - wonder what happened to that?  (What a waste of yarn!)

Can I just buy wool mittens and shrink them?  I think the concept is 
fascinating, and although wool makes me itch, I bet I could tolerate 
wool gloves.
