There is a problem with your analogy.  The grades posted were the end of the line - a 
done deal - while if the purpose of the pull codes is to gather info, then the pull 
codes are at the beginning of the line.  In the former case, those who received the 
poorer grades could have absolutely no influence on those grades or anyone else's. 
In the latter, those who are about to receive a pull are most definitely in a 
position to distort pulls reported by just not presenting to a vet.  Thus they can 
substantially skew the numbers on all pulls, not just RO's, making any studies based 
on that data flawed.
