We just won a show jumping competition with our
non-pedigree backyard breeding local horses, against $30.000 Dutch imports.
It was a competition between 4 riding schools. The
jumps were 70 cm.
Also about a year ago some boy win a reining
competition on a very cheap gelding his father bought him, against pedigree
quarter horses costing 10 times or even more the price of his local. The snobs
were so dissapointed that their $ horses lost from this pound horse, that the
next time they did not allow for non pedigree to enter.
On the other hand, it is so rare that cheap horses
win it from the $ horses, that it stands out, but does not proof they are
equal?
