If you have a non-insulated Al gooseneck floor to sleep in, a permanent
installation of a layer of Styrofoam (1" or 2") covered with 1/4" plywood,
or Masonite board.  will work wonders.  If you use the right glue, you can
glue the Styrofoam to the Al floor, and the plywood to the Styrofoam.
Styrofoam cuts with a knife, and the plywood with a jig saw.  If the area is
curved, make a paper pattern to help with the cutting.
