[RC] getting dumped - Priscilla Worth

Hello, rookie here... been lurking for a couple of weeks, but need some advice please. Spring fever hitting my arab hard and - colliewobblers? seem to be everywhere. I've been dumped 3 times in 3 weeks out on the trail. My butt is getting very sore - and I am getting very nervous.  I've been doing all the "right" things  - pushing him thru his spooks, etc and it works really well, but then we'll be walking along, all relaxed and BAM I end up on the the ground. I have been using my new Ansur treeless dressage saddle for trail riding, but it doesn't have much support for sudden changes of direction. I've never come off him before, so I have to admit I'm thinking it's the saddle.  At this point I'm not even sure we'll go thru w/our rookie ride coming up May 1. There are so many brands of saddles out there..is there any consensus on which provides the most security? My horse prefers the treeless saddles...

Thanks for your help,

Priscilla
