I will try that. I suspect I need the help as much or more than she does. I had forgotten those long ago no stirrup, hunt seat lessons. It might be time to try that again. Thanks for reminding me!

So maybe you can convince your daughter to do that.  I found that from my youth riding bareback, I learned to hold on with my legs - the full length of them. It became my natural reaction to a testy situation. Not a good idea as an adult when the horses you are riding consider that a cue to GO.
