Re: [RC] some folks dont speak arabian/jigging horse - Barbara McCrary

Some Arabs are an hysterical pain in the wherever, and I own one of that kind.  He's a wonderful trail horse, but put him in the company of more than two other horses, both of whom he is acquainted with, and he's a nut case.  It was suicidal to start him in an endurance ride.  The one I'm working with now has never done a ride, but he is obedient and knows "whoa" and "easy".  I'm hoping he carries that knowledge with him to his first ride in May.  He is smart and learns easily.  I am perfectly mindful of the fact that he can learn something bad as easily as something good, so I shall be very cautious about his first experience.
