My friend's horse had a persistent low grade colic one year and it turned out to be from acorns. We kept them raked up after that.   Jean

Our oak tress are shedding acorns like mad, more than they ever have before.  The horse are having a wonderful time scouring the ground for everyone and contently munching away.  Does anyone now if this is good or bad for them? Julie
