I could not agree more. I was raised with quiet...grew up in the country, am home alone during the day, again in the country and rather remote.
I almost cannot stand the sound of the radio. Every time I get into my husband's truck, the radio is on and all I want is to sense the world outside
the truck. The radio invades my sense of peace.
