Re: [RC] professional horse transporters - Merry Wicklund

FYI, we are NOT a family looking to "go in the business" of horse hauling!

We are hauling 2, and possibly 3 of our personal horses to the west coast and have 1 possibly coming back for Bill to condition for endurance.  We would have 2 emply slots on the return trip.

Thats all there is to it.

Bill has been active in AERC endurance riding for over 20 years and many of you out there know him.

I am writing tonight to discuss a problem that professional horse transporters are having....this is in response to a message posted tonight from a family that has decided to haul horses "for gas money" and posted a message on this network.  I asked them for their US DOT and FMCSA MC.ICC numbers and their insurance info.  The response that I received was that I was being rude in asking and Pro haulers were expensive...below is my response to her.
