Selenium is reported in either "ppm" (0.287ppm) or "ppb" (287ppb).
Some labs might also use mg/L or mcg/L, which would have the same difference in decimal points.
But no matter what "units" they use, you reference will always be that particular lab's "lab normal", which can vary from lab to lab.
