Re: [RC] Non-Competitive Rides - Barbara McCrary

That seems like a suitable alternative to losing the privilege of riding in some lovely country somewhere. I was told that competitive events were no longer allowed in High Rock Canyon in NV. A dozen events took place in that area some years ago. It would be a shame to lose that unique area to ride in. I would much prefer having a ride that was not competitive than not having it at all.

Subject: [RC] Non-Competitive Rides

A question came up not long ago about how to handle parks or other areas that do not allow competitive events. No "Endurance" rides or CTR

The question was, "Would AERC would allow an event that didn't give placings, etc under the AERC umbrella"

Didn't see any response.

Any thoughts?
