On the other hand, what could you imagine as having a
dimention of 500 m that would make a course "difficult"?. If the altitude
change is one hill 500 m high over 1 Km, it would be indeed a challenge to
someone expecting not over 5 m change over an entire course. (5 m would
have been the elevation change over one ride I managed.)
