I would like to join in also....9 months ago today I said goodbye to my
first horse. She was 34. Unfortunately I wasn't aware of the endurance
world until recently,when my little thoroughbred mare was too old to safely
compete but we had years of trail rides,playing polo, fox hunting, eventing,
hunter shows and most important she taught many the joys of riding. There
is a void without her, even though there are others to keep me busy. But never
would I have thought when I purchased the little bay mare with racing plates on,
that she would take me on life's various journeys for 31 years! Here's to
all the First Horses!!!!
