Re: [RC] Training Issue - Kathy MayedaYou are right - I agree about getting the horse focused back on you. I guess I don't like getting off my horse unless I absolutely have to. I did bail when he went bucking up a hill about ready to slam into my other horse on the trail, was totally p.o.'d and made him do some tight circles in hand. I got back on him, but the other rider offered to ride him back home because my adrenaline was raging, and I let her. But most of the time, I deal with his issues on his back because he's too tall for me to be mounting comfortably all the time. And if every time he spazzes out and if I dismounted, I would be on the ground A LOT. He's getting a whole lot better now, no bucking, less jigging, can go up and down hills without spazzing. K.
