Matter of semantics?  Yes, *exactly* a matter of semantics:
 
high/low does not mean club foot
contracted tendon does not mean club foot
 
It matters because the treatments for each condition,
but most particularly the *success* of the treatments
for each condition vary with the condition.  If one is
trying to decide whether to do check ligament surgery,
or breed a horse, or put one down, or whether what
Dr. Ridgeway has to say about high/low is relevant to
their Grade 1 club-footed horse whose other foot is
just dandy--semantics matter.
