I'm no expert on history, but if I recall correctly, the British going into 
the near east during the Crusades to attempt converting the Muslims to 
Christianity has had a lasting effect on their attitude toward the Christian 
world, including us.  Why can't people just let other people believe in 
their own religion without trying to convert them?  Why does anyone think 
their religion is the ONLY one?  There have been more atrocities committed 
in the name of religion than from any other cause I can think of, excepting 
greed and desire to have land and resources that someone else has.  Sheesh! 
Animals are territorial and attempt to take other animals' food and 
resources.  Religion and religious conflict seems to be a human thing.  I'm 
a big believer in "live and let live."
The article and photo of young bin Laden showed up in our local paper today. 
He looks a lot like his father, and his wife is very attractive...sort of 
like a Demi Moore - Ashton Kutcher coupling.  Who knows, maybe he can pull 
this off.
