I use equispot on everyone except the
babies and preg/nursing mares. It seems to be quite effective on the
biting flies on the legs. I have also just wrapped them with polo wraps
but they stomp them off. I have thought about using splint
boots!
I equispot the herd about every two
weeks and have found nothing better for keeping ticks
off.
SWAT also works very good and you can
use it more often.
