I also have to say, I love AERC more and more, every year.  I just got my June Endurance News and have practically inhaled it, as usual.  I have to make myself NOT sit in the post office parking lot, and read it, and instead drive home before I open it.  The article on married couples' years in endurance is priceless.  It starts off with Julie Suhr's comments, which alternately made me tear up, and then laugh and giggle.  Thank you to Julie, as always, for making my (endurance) day.  And, congratulations to all the married couples who have *endured* not only many miles in endurance, but many years of marriage.  Not sure which is more difficult.

And another thank you to the folks at Endurance News, who, once again, exceed all my expectations.  It's not even the end of May, and I have my June news.

I have talked to several vets that have said some people actually stay on the trail too long. The one thing that seems to never be discussed is the back. Saddle time - somewhat independent of speed adds linearly - tires the back.
