Re: [RC] [Endurance Tracks] First Class Educational Programme for Endurance - Beth WalkerI agree that - from the little I have read - the FEI seems to be trying to develop endurance more along the lines we are used to, with the recent changes allowing more technical rides.I don't see that in the UAE-style endurance. I think if the UAE style predominates, everyone will lose. In most of the equine sports that have an Olympic (FEI) level, there is a clear path of progression from beginning levels up to professional levels :: the general difficulty increases, but the basic sport is the same. With all the money the UAE is poring into this, I would not be surprised to see a power struggle somewhere down the line, since this is not the case with UAE-style "endurance". Which would be a good thing, IMO. :) =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
