That makes a lot of sense!  I just wish people weren't so obsessed with height.  I just don't see how an inch or two in height makes that much difference but some people act like it is the end of the world if their horse is shorter than 15 hands.  I think it is more important to see how the horse is built rather than how tall it is.  So many times I see people limit themselves to a certain height when they could be missing out on some really nice horses that are  just a little shorter.
 
Sorry for the rant but that is a peeve of mine, especially with Arabs since they are supposed to be smaller horses (imo).

"I'm sure that they don't grow as fast as horses on lots of high powered feed, and may end up an inch or two shorter at maturity, but we are not entering in shows or other events as 2 yr olds, so what difference does it make."
