Re: [RC] [RC] Rumps Rugs - Dream Weaver

I like my rump rug for mornings when it is cold and I have just tacked up. Especially if it's a point to point and your trailer is already packed or has left. It's also handy for the out vetchecks when it might be cold or windy. On the trail I usually use it at the start if we are walking and doing a good warmup on a multiday, then I pull it up about the time I can feel my hands and feet again and the sun is coming up. I like the kind with weights to hold it down in the wind and drawcords so you can cinch them up while trotting if you want. I'll also put it back down if it's getting cold and dark or windy, raining, etc. I like winter and colder type rides over hot weather rides, so use a rump rug often. Since the cinch cords are elastic every so often one will catch on a bush or shrub or tree when it's rolled up and then zap your horse in the butt. That just wakes everybody up. ;-) I've only had it happen once on two of my horses, and they didn't really seem to care.
