I showed Arabs for years, owner handler, we Trail rode all week or month depending on when the shows were, Then we would clean them up and go to the show, they did not look like the horses who were with trainers... We did our fair share of winning too... We did most of our own training from when I was 10-19... I think My dad started to hire a trainer when I was a Sr in HS for some of the horses, then while I was in College I was busy and did not show much, His having a trainer lasted about 6 years, 6 years to long in my opinion... then he got out of it..He saw the saddness in the ring and left the show world... It sounds like nothing has been done about it... Thanks for the report... I keep saying, the TWH's are not the only breed with shows that mistreat the horse... I just wish I knew what could be done about it to change People...
