Re: [RC] weight division question - Keith Kibler

One of the things that I think is great about endurance that is far superios, imho , over showing horses, is the removal of (most) subjective criteria. How many times have you been to a show and wondered what the heck the judges were thinking in awarding some award to some horse and owner.
If you think their is not much subjective criteria at a vet check you need to take a gaited horse to one and then practice explaining how your horse will never "trot" for the trot out, because he does not perform that gait.
So, I would say, keeping criteria in the BC such as weight, and time, and overall placement is a good thing. It keeps more objective criteria in the mix.
just my 2 cents
Keith
