..... Boring!!  It is noisy and smelly! It will never catch on..:) .....
 
And cars wreck, and people die....that is what brought people to NASCAR -- but not what we want to see at an Endurance Ride
 
Another thought ... If we try to turn Endurance Riding into a spectator sport -- Will we not at some point try to start pleasing the spectators, and in doing so turn the sport into the longest Horse Show Class of all time?  Prizes for best dressed (weight divisions anyone?)  What team (horse and rider) was best color coordinated?  Who had the best trot?  What crew got yelled, (uh excuse me had a difference in technique explained in no uncertain terms) at the most?  What crew fell asleep and missed the whole vet check?  The list could be expanded I am sure, and would have to be to fill 24 hours of a 100 mile ride, or even the 12 hours of a 50 mile ride.
