Re: [RC] Feeding on the ground? - AmyI like feeding hay on the ground too especially after my equine dentist said that horses who are fed up high generally need their teeth floated a whole lot more often than those fed on the ground. Grain is in buckets on the ground.Amy ----- Original Message ----- From: "Marirose Six" <msix0779@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <Thekids18049@xxxxxxx>; <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, February 02, 2007 10:24 AM Subject: Re: [RC] Feeding on the ground? I feed on the ground for the reasons you mentioned. I do put any type of grain in a small bucket just so that they don't have to sift through the dirt to get it. Wild horses don't eat grain--so they don't have that issue. BTW, my critters don't get much grain either.
