So do you feel like the Freeform it would spread the weight
of the stirrup hanger better?
Just curious as my mare is kind of sore after our 50 this past
weekend [I ride in the Freeform Enduro]. But not specifically where the
stirrups hang – more of the general seat area. This was her 3rd 50,
and a hard one [lots of rock, hills, etc – stuff she has never done before]. I
am hoping it’s just the strain of the terrain as she wasn’t sensitive after her
other 50 in the Freeform [and her 1st was in an Abetta that did NOT
fit her well].
I plan to go ahead and get the Toklat Woolback for treeless
saddles, as I use a regular Woolback now that is getting a bit old, and I think
the new model Woolback would be more comfortable for her. Thoughts?

PS: The FF seems to be working very well for me – this was
the hardest 50 I have done and my chiro was very surprised at how little I
needed to be adjusted today.

Comparing the rigging on the Freeform to
the rigging on the Bandos is like comparing apples to oranges. They are
entirely different types of saddles. The FF is foam injected which gives
it quite a bit of shape and structure; while the Bandos is an “unstructured”
treeless.

It is also very big compared to the one on the Freeform..about the size
of a salad plate or bigger..?
