Our son-in-law rides an Andalusian-Arab-TB cross gelding they bred and raised for endurance. He finished his first 50 in August. I don't offhand remember what our S-I-L thought of the horse's performance, but all I know is you have to enjoy riding a skyscraper. The horse is 1/2 Andalusian, 3/8 Arab, 1/8 TB and stands nearly 17 hands tall. I prefer about 14.2 myself...much easier to get on and closer to the ground in case of a sudden disconnect.

I'm coming to this discussion late and may have missed something, but I
have an Andalusian stallion that I use exclusively for cross breeding.
