Re: [RC] appaloosa endurance horses-CK - Lynne Glazer

I just spent some time at Adele Furby's place in Montana shooting her Shagyas, hers is the oldest/largest in the US. Must say, if you're looking for a bigger Arab with a ton of bone and brains, you couldn't go wrong with one of these. Her website is very old (and now there are the shots to update it) but for substance, get a load of Shandor on the home page--he is 24 now and still terrific.

Most of the people I know looking for an Arab cross are tall people who
need more height, thus TB or Saddlebred is added. Then there's those
heavyweights who just want more strength...cross with QH, Ap or
Andalusian, etc. I think some would be happy with a TB they could breed
some Arab feet onto. Then there's those who think Arabs feel like a jeep
and want to cross with a TWH.
