Thanks, Ranelle, the drainage has already completed. We are in the healing phase of the actual wounds on the heel bulbs made from blowing out.

Years ago that happened to one of my horses while he was jumping in the
trailer. I soaked his heel in a tub of hot water with Epsom salts (as much
as would dissolve in the water), palpating it while it soaked. I was amazed
at how much pus came out! I did this twice a day for about 4 or 5 days if I
remember..I used a black rubber feed tub so it would not be slippery like a
regular plastic bucket. I did it at feeding time with a hay bag in front of
him so he would stand still.

Today, I would also use Miracle Clay by Dynamite in between..it really pulls
stuff out!
