Re: [RC] Narrow Tevis Trail, a historical question - Barbara McCraryI have never ridden the California Loop, but I rode the Todd Valley one three times. As I remember, it was just a road through what has since become a subdivision of homes. There were a couple of places on the trail in the vicinity of the canyons back then (late 1970s) that did worry me, but they weren't at all bad. It was just that I hadn't overcome the degree of anxiety that I have since come to terms with. I have ridden up Cougar Rock 7 times, and that one always had my heart in my throat. Great photos, though.Barbara ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lucie Hess" <appalucie@xxxxxxxxx> To: <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, August 07, 2007 9:40 PM Subject: [RC] Narrow Tevis Trail, a historical question I've ridden the California loop to Francisco's on the May Fun Ride several years back. I thought the trail was narrow in places, but have been on trail that is as narrow on our midwest rides, but our dropoffs are shorter! =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
