Endurance.Net Ridecamp Archives

Soooo, like the clean air campaign, why not put a 'find a ride' type link on the website where people can try car pooling to rides?  Or had someone already suggested that ....

I know I've read its kind of a pain to have to go out of your way to then pick up someone whose horse won't load or the rider has too much stuff or whatever.  It is quite a hassle I'm sure but as people get used to it maybe it could work out?  Or more rides.  That way there would be bound to have a ride closer to home.  I know of a few places here in Georgia that might be great places to hold rides but I don't have a clue on how I would get the ball rolling to put on a ride.  Would the people that own the park/property get anything out of an endurance ride monetarilly?

 

Is anyone else in that position?  You do some conditioning rides and thing wow, why don't they have endurance rides here???  Maybe not enough to hold a 100 miler but still....
