Linda Mirams ****LOL - signs wouldn't have helped me the one time motorcycle race was on in the Sam Houston National Forest as I don't park at the motorcycle parking areas, but even though our group was caught on the windey single-track when they started coming, I wouldn't have thought about sueing anyone if my then neon green gelding had dumped and hurt me or himself. As it was, it turned out to be a lot of fun. The bikes came in groups of 8 and when we heard a group coming up behind us, we would all leap off the trail and wave furiously to let them know they didn't have to stop or slow for us (most of the dirt bikers in this area are very polite with the horses). As soon as they passed, we would jump back on trail and haul butt after them (goal was to get to the forest road crossing so we could go a different way). General not only didn't develop a fear of dirt bikes after this, he got into the spirit of the "game" and would eagerly chase after them when a group had passed. All in all, it turned out to be a good training exercise.
