Even though I’ve witnessed foalings before, this was very special. Patty looks like the perfect mom.

Dawn Engle took all pictures, they will be more "viewer friendly" once she's completed final exams this week.

Mare is Patriot Games, severally injured by lightening last May, the colt at her side was killed instantly, she was carrying this little girl at the time.

Dawn was present for Patty's birth, as well as the death of her mother, Wikings Dream, at the too young age of 9.

The cycle continues.
