Re: [RC] [RC] Safety issues with spot-on type bug control? - firedancefarms

Hi Sharon,
I use Equi-spot a lot this time of the year.  It is a lifesaver for tick problems, esp in the ears and under the legs.  I am acutely  aware it is a very concentrated insecticide and  wear gloves when applying and wash my hands after use.  I put it in everyone's ears, behind the girth, and under the back legs, and I only have to apply it once every 10 days.  BUT, I don't put it on foals, or preg mares, or mares we are getting ready to breed.

In the late summer it works pretty well to keep bot flies off as well.
Hope this helps some.
