Re: [RC] The Great Santa Fe Trail Horse Race/Thanks - rides2farI lived in the desert for a year > on an army cot and to me this place is a palace. All I need is a place to sleep> and sit down with a table> OK, I think I've found the one person who might not mind how simply I camp...but then again lots of times I don't have a table. :-)) For most rides I pull a basic 2 horse trailer, drag the mats out the back and set up a couple of cots for daughter & me in back of the trailer. Since I backed the top corner of my trailer into a tree limb a long time ago it leaks when it rains so bring a garbage bag to go over the end of your sleeping bag. If I'm alone I may not bother with that, just sleep in the truck seat and put the food basket in the back seat. If I went to a multi-day though and knew *ahead of time* that there was room to turn the gooseneck around (I'm not much with mirrors) I would borrow my neice's trailer which is like yours, a 3 horse slant with a mattress and table. I recommend a good ladder to get in the gooseneck. It gets harder and harder to get back up there. :-) Angie =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
