I wanted to let those people who are looking to buy horse trailers to check 
out Silver Lite brand. I bought a 3H slant GN with full living quarters 
brand new in 2005 (2004 model) and it's just like my mom's Sundowner in the 
horse part. Very impressed. NOT expensive. I paid $34K for a full LQ with 
separate bath/shower, walk through to horses.  Large area over bed (can sit 
up in bed with room over my head). It's gorgeous inside- nice decor. good 
woodwork. drop down windows, collapsible rear for easy horse loading.  Pulls 
like a dream (3/4 ton Dodge diesel). Lots of aluminum for light weight. I 
have no complaints. We pull the slant gates, load ATVs and go camping in it 
that way also.

I am not affiliated with these trailers... just wanted to let everyone know 
there are LQs out there for good prices.  Only complaint is there is no tack 
except for rear tack, so have to load a lot of stuff in bed of truck (water 
tank, etc.).  Other than that it has been very safe for horses and rides 
great. I have rode in back during very bumpy roads with horses, and a friend 
did it also.
Surprisingly smooth.  I will never buy another brand!  I hope one day to 
upgrade to the slide out.
