Re: [RC] Training Partners vs. Training Solo - Karen Sullivan

Until recently, my husband, John, and I trained together which was
great, because it was nice to ride together and it made my horse work
harder. So
I am having to condition two horses by myself now.

Suzy, why not pony the slower one off the faster one...sometimes this works
to encourage
the slower one to speed up the gaits. As my horse numbers creep up again, I
am doing more
ponying...attempt to train all my horses to pony off another horse or pony
the extra...sometimes
I saddle both and switch on a ride so both get ridden
Karen
