Re: [RC] Rowing machines (for rider exercise) - Patty P

I had a "total gym" and it was perfect. I rowed on it, and it was possible to get a complete workout like at the gym with all the variety. So that is my suggestion...buy one used from someone else. I bought it new and it was the best machine I ever had...sold it when I sold my house last year and don't have room now, but if I did have room that is what I would get. Enough variety to keep you from getting bored.

I?m thinking about getting a rowing machine. It seems it would provide a more well-rounded workout than what?s accomplished using our treadmill.

Is anyone currently using a rowing machine? If so, what brand/model are you using?

Or, do you have a better idea/suggestion for indoor winter workouts when the snow is deep outside.
