Re: [RC] Falling off your horse - indiancp

LOL weird the things that go through your mind when you are desperate. many years ago i used to be really stupid and thought i could ride anything. you can't ride that horse??...i'll do it. the LAST time i took on one of those it was a beautiful animal who had been tossing people around like leaves. course I could ride him. i climbed on and he started bucking..man we were all over the place. finally he stopped and was trotting around like a champ. i leaned slightly forward, petted and and said "you just needed to get all that out didn't you?" i think the you came out more like youuuuuuuu as i sailed through the air. that sucker was just waiting for me to be off guard and he lowered the boom. i hit the ground and he galloped off but then came back and started stomping me. i remember reaching up and trying to grab his front hooves as if i could actually have held them! fortunately there were people who came running and drove him away. i don't remember but they said i said i was okay and going to kill that sob. next thing i remember is waking in the hosp. that is the worse i've ever been hurt on a horse, oddly no broken bones but torn tendons and crutches for nearly a year. when i got back to the barn the horse was gone...hopefully into a dog food can.

Man does not have the only memory,
The animals remember,
The earth remembers,
The stones remember,
If you know how to listen, they will tell you many things.
