Most of the time they are not considered jumpers.  They have Kindergarten classes and hack classes.  My old endurance horse Nevada Dust did baby jumps in shows when Becky rode him but we did not ever consider him a jumper.  This first ride was a 50 at age 16 so yes, he was an endurance horse.
 
And maybe we did start with 100's but the AERC By-laws definition of endurance ride is 50 or more miles and that's a fact.........mb
