Lets be careful out there. Much of the west
is extremely dry. Our area is under stage 2 fire restrictions. No
camp fires, no burning, smoking only inside or in a 3 ft cleared area.
Equipment in the woods must have a fire extinguisher, spark arresters, only
operate between 1 am and 1 pm, and someone must stay for two hours after the job
is done to watch for fire.
We have had 8 human caused fires within 10 miles of
us. Fortunately, only two of them burned more than an acre. Lots of
suspicion that there is a sicko lighting them, but they also may be from
carelessness.
